Looks like the wind is blowing furiously
Martie: M'roy - it was! Lucky for me that none of the coconuts were ready to come off!
I like the atmosphere..
Martie: Xu - thank you for stopping by to look at my photos and leaving such a nice comment.
Great capture Martie. It makes my mouth watering!
Martie: Yes, there's nothing like fresh coconut! Thanks for the comment Richard.
Good capture
Martie: Thanks Vintage. There was a storm coming, otherwise the sky would have been a brilliant blue!
A really excellent windswept image. I like the sense of movement.
Martie: Thanks Michael. Glad you liked it. Also, thanks for letting me know my name was showing in black when I leave a comment. I'll work on that!
That's beautiful Martie, the wind, the coconuts, lovely 'mood' photo
Martie: Thanks Lorraine. Lucky for us it was just a storm and not the beginnings of a typhoon (although it is a bit early in the season)!
a nice shot
Martie: Thanks Teresa!
The picture is a bit soft, with the ISO up you would anage a faster shutterspeed for better sharpness - if you wanted to.
It still is a great picture to show the wind blowing.
Martie: Thanks for the advice Louis. I've been playing with shutterspeed, but I don't know if I would have thought to adjust the ISO. I appreciate the suggestions - I need help. I hope to eventually do all my work in manual mode!
It's pouring with rain here as I look at this...coconuts and a palm tree!
Martie: If it's any consolation, shortly after I took this photo the heavens opened and the rains came down so hard the drops bounced off the pavement a good 4-6 inches! (But it was a WARM rain, so that was nice.)
I do hope you were wearing your helmet.....you are very brave, you captured this very well, love it, love the movement of the leaves.
Martie: Thanks for the supportive comment Astrid!
Astrid always get in before me Martie, I hope you did not get a headache!!
Nice shot
Martie: Thanks! I was lucky and didn't get to experience the knock on the head - I better pay more attention in the future tho!!
Looks like they are just about ready to get blown down. I hope you got one or two!
Martie: I escaped the coconut "bombing" that day!
I can see that this is not from Norway
Martie: Totally different flora and fauna for sure!
The breeze shows up well in this; nicely seen.
Martie: Thanks Alan.
Maravillosa imagen de esta palmera llena de cocos, te quedo perfecta consiguiendo una gran composición. Saludos!
Martie: ˇGracias! Amo la palma de coco. ˇLos fronds de la palma son casi tan útiles como el coco!
